We had an amazing stay at this hotel surrounded by nature. Best aspects include spacious Japanese style room with comfortable mattresses for us westerners, onsen with mixed outdoor pools, perfect for relaxing after a day of hiking, and warm atmosphere during Japanese style dinner. We also appreciated the hotel's location as a starting point for the Mount Rausu trail and easy access to parking.

Nothing I didn't like to be fair.

The hotel was located at the perfect starting point for the hike up Mount Rausu. The breakfast provided was excellent and gave us the energy boost needed for the hike. The onsen facilities were clean, and we particularly enjoyed the mixed gender outdoor onsen where the hotel provided attire. The front desk also sold snacks, maps and bear bells which came in handy during our hike.

The hotel staff struggled with speaking English and communication was a bit difficult at times. Also, the room we stayed in could have been a little bigger, but it was still good value for money. the hotel offered a great experience for nature lovers and hikers looking to explore the surrounding wilderness.

Nestled in the serene wilderness, this hotel provides a perfect retreat for budget travellers. the traditional Japanese-style room with comfortable mattresses and an excellent view is a haven for weary guests. Relaxing in the onsens, both indoor and outdoor, is an exceptional experience. the hotel's surroundings of lush forest and tranquil pathways add to the charm. the sumptuous breakfast satisfies every guest's hunger and cravings.

The hotel did not have adequate information available for pre-ordering dinner, which left some guests in a lurch upon arrival.
